Meet the Dog Trainer
Ken Hungerford
Dog Trainer

Ken has had a lifelong relationship with dogs, beginning at age three when his parents gave him a German Shepherd puppy. At age twelve, he successfully trained his first GSD, Shane. About the same time, he began handling aggressive guard dogs on his family's farm. From that time on, Ken has owned, trained, and handled too many dogs to count. Over the years, Ken has gained experience in working dogs from all the different working disciplines. There is NO substitute for experience when it comes to handling and training difficult and aggressive dogs.

Our Mission:
Capital Canine LLC was created by Ken Hungerford and Dana Dowling to fill a void in the North Florida dog training and dog boarding market. By targeting responsible dog owners who want the best for their families, friends, and neighbors, Capital Canine LLC will strive to provide a safe and enriching environment for all dogs, no matter what their temperament challenge. We will house active dogs, shy dogs, and even the most aggressive dogs. In addition, we can successfully train these problem dogs, even in their owners' absence if necessary. Capital Canine LLC's goal is to provide assistance to the owners of problem dogs so that beleaguered owners and their problem dogs can lead enriched and complete lives.
